Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking Paraprofessionals to work in a small school program, supporting a Special Education teacher with 5–7 students per class in New Hampshire. The role focuses on direct student support, integrating activities to develop communication, daily living, and academic skills, and fostering supportive relationships.

The position is active and hands-on, not a desk job, with opportunities to positively impact students' growth in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required; two years of experience with children preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support a Special Education teacher in small classrooms of 5–7 students.
• Help with activities of daily living and development of communication and academic skills.
• Assist with behavior regulation and emotional support.
• Be a trusted, team-oriented role model for students.
