Job summary

Easter Seals NH, Inc. in Lancaster, NH is seeking Paraprofessionals to join our school program. You will work with a Special Education teacher to provide direct support to students in classrooms with 5 to 7 students who have intellectual and developmental challenges.

This is an active, non-desk role; you will be making a direct impact on students’ lives, assisting with daily living activities, communication development, regulation support, and academic skills in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Two years experience working with children is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students in small classrooms (5–7 students).
• Assist with activities of daily living and communication development.
• Support student regulation and behavior strategies.
• Assist with academic skills practice in class.

Education
