Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.

• Ability to defuse situations and support students 1:1 or in groups.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and provide instructional and behavioral support per IEP/504, 1:1 or small groups.
• Commit to educating the whole student—academically, morally, and socially.
• Implement curriculum and instructional strategies tailored to each student’s needs.
• Attend professional development, trainings, and IEP meetings with the team and parents.
• Assist with compliance documentation as required.
