Job summary

Roaring Fork School District seeks an AN Paraprofessional to support classroom teachers and assist students according to IEP goals. You will participate in supervision, behavior management, and instructional tasks in both general and special education settings.

Responsibilities include supervising students during transitions, assisting with materials, data collection, and reporting progress to teachers. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Paraprofessional test or an Associate's degree is preferred.
• Ability to work under teacher direction and follow IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Under teacher direction, provide support in all areas of the classroom and assist with instruction and management.
• Supervise and assist students in hallways, lunchrooms, and during transitions.
• Assist in proctoring tests and organizing instructional materials.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers and administrators.
• Adhere to Crisis Prevention Institute protocols during crises and maintain student privacy.
