Job summary

Jubilee Academies in San Antonio, Texas seeks a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to support teachers and students with moderate to severe disabilities. The role focuses on instructional assistance, classroom organization, and positive behavior support to help at-risk learners access the curriculum.

You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 a.m., and collaborate with campus staff to implement individual plans, monitor progress, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed 48+ semester hours or TX Educational Aide Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instructional activities and supervising students in classroom.
• Help devise and implement strategies for reinforcing skills based on student needs.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests and keeping records.
• Maintain neat and orderly classroom and assist with equipment care and inventory.
• Support teachers in keeping substitution records and required reports.
• Provide one-on-one or small group supervision for at-risk students.
• Monitor lunchroom, playground, and other areas as assigned.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings as required.
