Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in fostering positive social and emotional behavior.
• Perform instructional activities and monitor progress via data collection.
• Assist with behavioral management procedures.
• Provide updates on academic progress and student needs to the teacher.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Assist with health care needs, including feeding and bathroom support.
• Help students with bathroom, cafeteria, transportation, and recess as needed.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the teacher.
• Perform clerical tasks to support instruction.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by administrators.
