Job summary

DSST Public Schools is hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals for middle and high schools at multiple Denver-area locations. The role focuses on supporting students with disabilities across educational and behavioral needs, with 1:1 or small-group instruction and collaboration on IEPs.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Demonstrated In-Field Status to be a Paraprofessional within 30 days of start date.
• Commitment to helping all students succeed in high school and post-secondary goals.
• Interest in anti-racist education and ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Support educational, behavioral, social-emotional, physical and daily living needs of students with disabilities.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support in center or classroom settings.
• Assist with accommodations, IEP data collection and lesson planning.
• Maintain a structured, organized, routine learning environment.
• Communicate daily with families and protect student confidentiality.
