To assist faculty, staff and administration in providing quality education and instructional activities to students. Working closely under the guidance of Special Education teachers, this individual supports students with diverse learning needs in academic classrooms. The primary goal is to foster independence and assist students in successfully achieving the benchmarks outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
The paid work week is 32-35 hours for a five-day week. Paraprofessionals are entitled to a thirty-minute paid lunch period each day.
The employee will work and be compensated exclusively on days when school is in session for students and during designated staff Professional Development days.
