Job summary

Romeo Community Schools in Michigan is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to assist classroom teachers with students who have IEPs, including those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, who require targeted behavioral and developmental support.

Under the direction of the building Principal and the Executive Director of Special Services, the paraprofessional provides caring, nurturing support to students in the least restrictive environment to help them reach their individual goals,

Under the direction of the building Principal and the Executive Director of Special Services, the Special Education Paraprofessional assist classroom teachers with students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), including diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who require specific behavioral and developmental support affecting a child’s communication, social and play skills. The paraprofessional provides caring and nurturing support to students in the least restrictive environment, to achieve their individual goals.
