Job summary

New Story Schools in Boiling Springs, PA, is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to work with students ages 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will support academics, behavior, and daily living goals under teacher guidance, helping students succeed through patience and encouragement.

You’ll implement IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans, assist with transitions and personal care, and collect progress data in a safe, structured classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities.
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay calm and consistent during challenging situations.
