Job summary

The Zumbro Education District seeks a specialized paraprofessional to assist in delivering educational services to youth identified as students with special needs ages 6-18, under the supervision of a licensed special education teacher.

This 1.0 FTE role is based at the ZED Building in Kasson, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, about 181 duty days, starting ASAP, open until filled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to record and summarize data in written form for educational staffings.
• Prior experience with secondary students with special needs.
• No prior medical condition which would impair the delivery of services based on the student's IEP.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of educational services to youth identified as students with special needs ages 6-18.
• Provide individualized or small group support under the direction of a special education licensed teacher.
