Job summary

Zumbro Education District is seeking a specialized paraprofessional to assist in delivering educational services to youth identified as students with special needs ages 6-18. You will work under the direction of a licensed special education teacher in either individual or small group settings.

Starting ASAP, 7:30-3:30, Monday–Friday in Kasson, MN. Requires a High School Diploma and prior experience with secondary students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to record and summarize data for staffings.
• Prior experience with secondary students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering educational services to youth with disabilities ages 6-18.
• Work with licensed teachers to implement individualized or small group instruction.
• Record and communicate progress to educational staff.

Job Summary: The specialized paraprofessional position is designed to assist in the delivery of educational services to youth identified as students with special needs ages 6-18. Assistance will be provided on an individualized or small group basis under the direction of a special education licensed teacher.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Able to record and summarize data in written form for educational staffings. Prior experience with secondary students with special needs. No prior medical condition which would impair the delivery of services based on the student's IEP.
