Salary ranges from $35,280 to $42,416 per year with a $1,000 stipend prorated, and duties include lunch/recess support, planning participation, and data collection aligned to IEP

Qualifications

• Need 48 undergraduate college credits or passing Paraprofessional/ParaPro assessment (or WorkKeys).
• Preferred: non-violent crisis intervention training; experience supporting students with special needs; ability to support in multiple languages including Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, African languages, or ASL.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher by reviewing, correcting and reinforcing lessons with individual or small groups.
• Prepare and inventory instructional materials and set up learning aids and equipment.
• Supervise breakfast/lunch periods and school activities.
• Perform clerical tasks such as attendance recording and filing.
• Assist in planning instructional activities and communicate with the teacher.
• Maintain student confidentiality and a harassment-free environment.
• Supervise students across environments and activities.
• Support substitute teachers and enforce district rules and behavior plans.
