St. Cloud School District 742 is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator to assist teachers and support students with special needs in a district-wide setting.

This 10-month, hourly position involves facilitating IEP-based activities, supervising students, and performing clerical duties to aid instructional staff. Responsibilities include assisting with feeding and personal care, managing behavior, and helping develop daily living skills.

Qualifications

• HQ status demonstrated through meeting one of: HQ, 60 college credits with 2.0+ GPA, or Paraeducator Exam.
• Preferred: similar job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing IEP-based educational programs.
• Support students with feeding, bathroom needs, and personal care.
• Help with student safety, behavior management, and supervision.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers.
• Maintain classroom clerical tasks to support staff.
