Core responsibilities include supervising students in various settings, implementing IEP plans, preparing instructional materials, and collecting performance data.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of related experience, especially with children.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in activities planned by the teacher.
• Provide individual assistance with academic tasks and interactions with other students.
• Supervise students in general education classrooms, resource rooms, playgrounds, lunchrooms, and other areas.
• Carry out behavior intervention plans or student assistance plans as directed by teachers or IEP team.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials.
• Collect student performance data as directed by teachers.
• Keep records as directed by teachers.
• Enter data for computerized education programs and records.
• Assist a student with daily living skills and self care as needed.
• Report problems or questions to supervising teachers and administrators.
• Follow all district and Keystone Learning Services policies and confidentiality rules.
