Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work with students with disabilities across multiple domains.
• Experience with this age group in a special education context preferred.
• Ability to build productive relationships with school staff and administrators.
• Proactive and systematic in completing assigned tasks.
• Willingness to be trained in crisis intervention techniques.
• Willingness to apply crisis intervention skills under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support and reinforce instruction under teacher guidance in general education settings.
• Document daily personal care needs for each caseload student.
• Sign Medicaid consent forms and submit monthly billing.
• Prepare materials and assist with classroom setup and clean-up.
• Assist with supervision during lunch, recess, and transitions.
• Attend to students' routine medical or hygiene needs as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the special education teacher or principal.
