Job summary

Saint Cloud School District 742 is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator for a 10-month preschool setting at Westwood Elementary. Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–2:30 PM, salary $19.00/hr in a traditional setting. The role supports IEP-driven instruction and student daily living skills with duties including supervision and clerical tasks.

Qualifications include High School or GED, HQ status via 60 college credits with GPA 2.0+ or Paraeducator Exam; preferred: similar experience and bilingual ability.

Qualifications

High School or GED diploma is required.
HQ status demonstrated through one of: 60 college credits with GPA 2.0+, or passing Paraeducator Exam.
60 college credits (AA/AS) with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Pass the Paraeducator Exam or contact district for information.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing IEP-based educational programs.
Assist students with feeding, positioning, bathroom needs and personal hygiene.
Assist with student physical and behavioral management, including restraints as needed.
Supervise and assist students during instructional and non-instructional activities.
Observe and communicate student progress to teachers; maintain confidentiality.
