Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator to support students with IEPs, facilitating mastery of curriculum and assisting with behavioral, social, and physical needs. The role may involve off-campus activities and varied scheduling.

You will work under the principal's direction, provide instructional support, and help manage classrooms, with opportunity for progression from grade 15 to 16 after probation. Part-time schedule and 60 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with students in structured educational settings encouraged.
• Ability to support students with IEP goals and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction and reinforce grade-level or alternate standards.
• Support student learning and well-being, including behavior management.
• Provide clerical and classroom support as needed.
