Roaring Fork School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional at Roaring Fork High School. The role supports instructional and behavioral goals under teacher supervision, maintains a positive learning environment, and assists in supervising students in various school settings.

Responsibilities include small group and one-on-one instruction, material preparation, test proctoring, and reporting student progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; paraprofessional test or associate’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of classroom management and standards-based education.
• Ability to assist with instruction, behavior management, and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in all areas of the classroom under teacher direction.
• Assist with classroom instruction and management to maintain productive environment.
• Proctor tests and help prepare instructional materials.
• Conduct small group and individual instruction per lesson plans.
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to staff and families.
