Zusammenfassung

Dexter Community Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator to support students with disabilities in collaboration with the instructional team. You will assist with academics, physical activities and life skills, help implement IEP plans, and maintain student safety, dignity and confidentiality.

This 6.75-hour workday aligns with the DCS calendar and pays $17.62 per hour, with an unpaid 35-minute lunch.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work with parents, students and staff.
• Basic computer skills required.

• Assist students with disabilities per IEPs in academics and health.
• Support instructional team in developing work assignments and services.
• Help implement health care, instructional programs, and behavior management.
• Maintain student confidentiality.
• Assist in administering assessments as needed.
• Support lesson delivery and monitor progress.
• Handle lifting and overhead tasks; ensure safety.
• Maintain behavioral and instructional logs.
• Attend reliably and punctually.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
