Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years working with children in instructional or related setting preferred.
• MANDT training annually recommended for special education scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with organization and completion of daily work.
• Maintain safe, nurturing environment and support social skill development.
• Redirect and monitor student behavior in small groups.
• Organize instructional materials and cumulative files.
• Assist with assessments and prepare materials for testing.
• Support two-way communication using sign language or transliteration when needed.
• Perform non-instructional duties including cafeteria, bus, hall and office duties.
