Responsibilities

• Work with students individually or in small groups under staff.
• Assist with supervision in classrooms, cafeteria, halls and other areas.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• May ride the bus with students and provide one-to-one support.
• Ensure student safety and provide supervision at all times.
• Assist students with health needs under nurse guidance.
• Help prepare educational materials.
• Assist during mealtime and with personal hygiene.
• Help students get to and from bus or car.
• Perform other duties as assigned with varied tasks.
