About the Role
We are currently seeking a Paraprofessional to support students in a Burnsville, MN school district. This is an excellent opportunity for an education professional who enjoys working directly with students and collaborating with teachers and school staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support to students.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, assignments, and learning objectives.
- Support students with behavioral, social, and academic needs.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and follow established behavior plans.
- Assist students with personal care, mobility, or other daily needs when required.
- Reinforce teacher instructions and support a positive, structured classroom environment.
- Follow student IEPs and individualized support plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the school team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some districts may require an Associate's degree or successful completion of a Paraprofessional assessment/exam.
- Previous experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred.
- Ability to follow and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans.
- Strong communication, patience, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for supporting students and helping them reach their full potential.

Pay range and compensation package
Earn $22-$26/hour with reliable weekly pay.
