Responsibilities

• Work with students individually or in small groups under staff guidance.
• Assist with supervision in classroom, cafeteria, halls, etc.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• May ride the bus with students.
• May work one-on-one with a student to complete tasks.
• Supervise students as needed and ensure safety.
• Assist students with health needs under nurse direction.
• Prepare educational materials for use in instruction.
• Assist students at mealtimes.
• Assist students in personal hygiene areas.
• Help transport students to and from bus or car.
• Other duties may be assigned based on needs.
