Qualifications

  • Maintain para-professional status with at least 6 hours of in-service training annually.
  • CPR and First Aid training must be current.
  • Record of good attendance on the job.
  • Clear criminal history record required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement activities to support IEP objectives under supervision of the SPED teacher.
  • Facilitate mainstreaming activities.
  • Assist with hygiene/health-related activities to ensure student health and safety.
  • Assist with transportation to ensure safe student arrival and departure.
