Job summary

Pioneer School District seeks a paraeducator for the 2026-2027 school year at the elementary level (6.5 hours). Under supervision of a certificated teacher, you will provide instructional support, intervention services, and one-on-one assistance to students in Lifeskills/Options.

Duties include tutoring, behavior management, and classroom support to meet individual student needs. The position requires a high school diploma, 72 college credits and/or AA, and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 72 college quarter credits and/or AA required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Assist students in gaining social, academic, and self-help skills.
• Communicate professionally, orally and in writing; operate computers.
• Fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and tutoring.
• Offer intervention services and one-on-one support.
• Supervise lunch and manage student behavior.
• Assist with remedial instruction in reading and math.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Perform clerical duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
