Job summary

Foothills Middle School in Wenatchee, WA is seeking a Special Education Para - leave replacement to assist the instructor and support students in developing personal, social, and academic skills.

The 6-hour-per-day position runs from 9/8/26 to 12/18/26. Minimum AA degree or equivalent or PRAXIS test is required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Duties include one-on-one or resource room support and other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum AA degree or equivalent or passed PRAXIS test required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Ability to make good decisions.
• Patient, flexible, self-motivated, good communication, teamwork, academic skills and positive social skills and a sense of humor.
• Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Education instructor in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social and intellectual development of students.
• Provide educational services to students in the special education program.
• This position may require one-on-one or resource room support.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• Building locations subject to change based on student support needs.
