REPORTS TO: School Principal.
JOB GOAL: To work closely with one or a few handicapped students for more than 50% of the school day in an effort to provide them with the physical help and emotional support they need to gain full benefits from the district’s special education program.

The work day shall be established by the building principal but shall not exceed 7.5 hours per day, excluding ½ hour for a duty free lunch, unless other arrangements are made by the supervisor.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a nine-month contract (182 days). Salary range is based on the board approved salary schedule.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of Support Personnel.
