Job summary

Neptune Township School District is seeking Special Education Math Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions require Math instruction for grades 5-8 and/or expertise as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities. An Elementary K-8 certificate with Disabilities endorsement is preferred.

Teachers will implement IEPs, collaborate with staff, and contribute to a supportive learning environment. Salary is placed on a guide according to experience, with comprehensive health benefits and coverage

Qualifications

• Must hold appropriate K-12 math certification with licensure in New Jersey.
• Experience or credentialing in special education preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse learners and implement IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out teaching duties as described in the attached job description.
• Plan and deliver mathematics instruction aligned to standards for grades 5-8.
• Collaborate with special education staff, families and administrators.

OPEN POSITIONS

Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION MATH TEACHERS

Reports To: BuildingPrincipal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed

Salary Range: Candidates will be placed on guide according to qualifying experience ($62,289 - $104,889)

Qualifications:

• Teacher of Math 5-8 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities OR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: 10 Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. See above for specific salary information.
