We are now offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for a Special Education Math Teacher to support our LifeWorks School in Doylestown, PA for the 2024-2025 Academic School Year.
The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school affected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. LifeWorks' comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes. Our unique balance of academic rigor and a continuum of evidence-based educational/therapeutic supports make LifeWorks the regional provider of choice.
The Special Education Teacher: provides academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a school setting; monitors student academic and functional achievement through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods; observes and records student progress daily; develops and monitors student’s IEP, reports, goals, objectives, attends IEP meetings, establishes, maintains, and works toward student goals as outlined in the IEP; manages student behavior through individualized motivational systems, S.M.A.R.T. Program, and positive behavior support plans.
