Job summary

Qualifications

• License required: Minnesota K-12 ASD and/or ABS teaching license; willingness to obtain ASD licensure within two years if needed.
• Experience developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and using assessment data to guide programming.
• Regular communication with families via Schoology, newsletters, calls, emails, conferences.
• Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior to support learning.
• Participates in professional development to stay current with best teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community to manage multiple requests.
• Support and communicate with administrators and staff; respond in emergencies.
• Follow district policies and plan/paraphrase work with paraprofessionals.
• Contribute to goal-setting and professional learning communities.
• Assist with third-party reimbursement tasks as needed.
