Ellington Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for the middle school MAP Program starting immediately. The program serves students in grades 7-8 who require specialized instruction and Daily living skills support. The program allows for students to access their education in a small group environment. Through a collaborative approach between special education teachers, general education teachers, paraeducators, support staff, administration, parents and students, students are provided an individualized education program that ensures the improvement of skills in the social/emotional/behavioral domain.
