Job summary

Sinton ISD in Texas is seeking an Elementary Classroom Aide to support a certified special education teacher and other staff in meeting students' needs under IEP guidance. You will assist with instructional activities, adaptations, and data collection to track progress.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and experience with students with disabilities is preferred. You will work under supervision, promoting safety, confidentiality, and collaboration with families and professionals

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED as stated.
• Two years of study or an associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities and support needs.
• Ability to follow IEP-related plans and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support teacher-developed instruction and implement IEPs with fidelity.
• Assist students with instructional activities, practice, and skill development.
• Prepare instructional materials and organize IEP-required materials.
• Help students access the general education curriculum in inclusive settings.
• Collect and record academic, behavioral, and functional data per staff guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate with supervising staff.
