Position requires Texas educational aide certification or 48 college hours, with experience working with children. Responsibilities include classroom support, material prep, and student supervision throughout the day.

• Valid Texas educational aide certificate
• Requires 48 college hours or Treasuring Paraprofessionals Training Certificate
• Ability to work with children with disabilities
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Communicate effectively
• General office equipment knowledge
• Experience working with children

Responsibilities

• Help teacher prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Assist students with physical disabilities as needed.
• Assist with personal care and feeding when required.
• Manage student behavior and support emotional needs.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, and recess.
• Communicate student needs to teachers promptly.
