Qualifications

  • Massachusetts Licensure in Moderate Special Needs (1-6).
  • SEI Endorsement.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Criminal background checks including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement schedules for students' services in accordance with their IEPs' service delivery.
  • Coordinate schedules with classroom teachers and other specialists' service delivery.
  • Select instructional programs and differentiate instruction to match IEP goals.
  • Provide instruction addressing IEP goals and differentiate accordingly.
  • Employ behavior management techniques during individual or small group instruction.
  • Maintain and use adaptive equipment and materials.
  • Develop classroom and curricular accommodations and modifications.
  • Collaborate with subject area teachers to plan and teach.
