Job summary

Memspa, on behalf of Flint Community Schools, seeks a Paraprofessional in Learning Support Services to support students with disabilities in both general and special education settings under teacher supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with academic and behavioral needs, escorting students, preparing instructional materials, and maintaining confidentiality to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 60 college credit hours or higher degree or exam scores.
• Associate degree or higher is acceptable.
• Paraprofessional assessment or SAT scores accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities individually or in small groups under teacher supervision.
• Escort and supervise students during transitions and activities.
• Support students in understanding and completing assignments; reinforce instructions.
