Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a SPED LD Resource Teacher for Shea Middle School. This full-time, 1.0 FTE position starts 9/2/2026 and reports to the Site Administrator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job-related area.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate and SEI Endorsement.
• Appropriately Certified in Core Content Area.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administers developmental testing programs and assessments to determine student needs.
• Collaborates with staff and parents to develop IEPs and instructional plans.
• Maintains confidential records and documents as required by guidelines and law.
• Manages student behavior to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Participates in IEP meetings and PLC teams to discuss progress and strategies.
