The K12 North Star District is seeking an experienced educator to plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of settings. Through the IEP process, you will facilitate development in educational, social/emotional, communication, gross and fine motor, and adaptive areas.
The position requires a valid Alaska SPED certificate and familiarity with state and federal SPED laws. Excellent benefits accompany a minimum 184-day contract.
The successful external (non-FEA) applicant will receive a $2,000 signing bonus following the first 30 days of his/her contract.
Plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings.
