Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to facilitate competency in speech and language skills for students with communicative disorders. The role involves assessing and supporting students across multiple schools in the Fairbanks North Star Borough.

The successful applicant will travel between sites, hold an Alaska Type C certificate with appropriate endorsement, and join a team supported by the Fairbanks Education Association.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with a major emphasis in speech-language pathology, audiology, or speech-language hearing science.
• Have or be eligible for an Alaska Type C special services certificate with an applicable endorsement for speech/language.
• Must be able to travel to various schools and offices within the Fairbanks North Star Borough. While driving on district business, must hold a valid driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and registration.

The successful external (non-FEA) applicant will receive a $2,000 signing bonus following the first 30 days of his/her contract.
