Job summary

AERRC is seeking a dedicated Special Education instructor to plan and provide learning experiences for students with disabilities across diverse educational settings. Through the IEP process, you will facilitate development in educational, social/emotional, communication, gross motor, fine motor, and adaptive domains.

The position offers a strong benefits package and a 184-day contract with a $2,000 signing bonus after 30 days. Retirement (TRS) and a 403b Employer Match are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Alaska Initial, Professional, or Master certificate with endorsement in Special Education.
• Knowledge of state and federal Special Education laws.

1. Bachelor's degree
2. Must possess or be eligible for a valid Alaska Initial, Professional, or Mastercertificatewith an endorsement in Special Education
3. Working knowledge of state and federal Special Education laws
4. Meet all state and federal requirements to be qualified in required content area
