Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college credit hours or pass ParaPro test.
• Confidential handling of information per FERPA and district policies.
• Crisis prevention/de-escalation and restraint training required for Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Relate to students with dignity and respect; support individual education plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow district policies and procedures.
• Prepare instructional materials and supervise students as needed.
