Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school with a preference for specialized training and a two or four-year college degree (or 48 hours of college credit).
• Experience in education or related alternatives may be considered.
• Ability to protect student confidentiality and follow teacher plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with IEPs under supervision of a licensed Special Education Teacher.
• Carry out all physical care routines as indicated on Health Plans/IEPs.
• Provide individual/group instruction based on teacher plans and maintain classroom materials.
• Set up and use assistive technology to aid learning.
• Maintain confidentiality and assist in school activities as assigned.
