Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Experience with students with learning, emotional and behavioral disabilities, autism spectrum, speech and communication disorders preferred.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• General administrative and clerical abilities.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug screening.
• Must be able to commute to multiple school sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support in a variety of academic areas.
• Follow through on intervention plans with consistency and professionalism.
• Fill in as a substitute teacher if qualified.
• Work in several classrooms with varying ages and grades.
• Assist in classroom management, crisis response, and trained physical restraint.
• Provide tutoring in small groups or one-on-one.
• Follow through on behavior and academic intervention plans.
• Collaborate with counseling or behavioral staff as needed.
• Document behavioral and academic data as directed.
