Full-time Daniel Wright Junior High School special education teacher associate position working with students with moderate to severe impairments.Hours are Monday – Friday 7:15 am to 3:00 pm on student attendance days.
Duties to Include:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of the educational program for students with moderate to severe disabilities under the direct supervision of the special education teacher, general education teacher and related service personnel.
- Support students within the special education setting and the general education setting.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding work with students.

Qualifications:
Illinois Professional Educator License with a Paraprofessional Endorsement required. OR
Illinois Substitute Teaching Licence required
Professional Educator License preferred.
Special Education Guided Salary:$18.48/hour - $18.99 + $2.00/hour stipend (higher pay based on licensure, education and experience)
Referral and Signing Compensation
Current employees that refer an individual for open associate, custodial or bus driver positions who is then hired by the district and the new employee remains employed for 60 days will receive a $250 “referral bonus”. The new employees in these categories will receive a $500 signing bonus if they remain employed for more than 60 days
