Berkeley School District #87 seeks a dedicated Teacher Aide (Special Education Inclusion) to support instruction at MacArthur Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Paraprofessional Certification required.
• Thirty (30) semester hours of college credit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher to maintain an organized, efficient, and productive classroom environment.
• Administer and record student achievement and test scores for individuals.
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce lessons and skills.
• Collaborate with the teacher to plan strategies tailored to each student’s needs, interests and abilities.
• Provide guidance for independent study and remedial work as directed by the teacher.
• Supervise students during lunch, field trips and other activities as needed.
