Job summary

Mysmarthire is seeking a Special Education CDC Teacher to develop and implement IEPs, apply diverse reading and math strategies, and collaborate with a team to meet all local, state, and federal requirements for students with disabilities.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with parents, capable of scheduling IEP meetings, coordinating assessments, and using student data to guide instruction in a compliant setting.

Qualifications

• Able to write and implement all components of an IEP (Individual Education Plan)
• Must be able to use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students
• Must be a strong communicator with parents and able to hold structured IEP meetings to meet all requirements
• Must be a critical thinker, team player, collaborator, and able to use students' academic performance data to make accurate decisions to meet students needs
• Knowledge of Special Education
• Must maintain regular attendance
• Must be able to interact with students
