Job summary

Springfield Public Schools SEZP (ZONE-WIDE) seeks an Evaluation Team Leader to direct special education oversight and MTSS collaboration within multiple schools. You will ensure compliance, coordinate IEP processes, and guide educators, families, and principals in delivering equitable services.

The role emphasizes leadership to advance anti-racism, equity, and empowerment, with opportunities for professional development and networking across districts.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE educator license required; waiver possible for eligible candidates.
• Experience teaching middle/high school students.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure federal and state compliance with special education regulations.
• Coordinate and facilitate M.G.L. 71B 603 CMR 28.00 compliance.
• Serve as liaison with parents, principals, staff and community offices.
• Maintain final versions of IEPs on caseloads.
• Coordinate transitions from middle to high school and HS to postsecondary.
• Complete referrals and Summary of Performance forms as assigned.
• Collaborate to provide coaching to teachers and paraprofessionals.
• Support MCAS ALT implementation and related processes.
• Maintain a compliance log and IEP documentation.
