Job summary

RSU 40 – Midcoast Maine is seeking flexible Educational Technicians to support students with diverse needs across our special education programs. You will work in collaboration with a team to provide academic, behavioral, and functional support.

Responsibilities include 1:1 and small group support, implementing IEP goals, and fostering inclusive learning environments. Certification eligibility and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

  • Maine Ed Tech I, II, or III certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

RSU 40 – Midcoast Maine

RSU 40 is seeking flexible, student-centered Educational Technicians to support students across our special education programs. These positions work as part of a collaborative team to provide academic, behavioral, and functional support to students with diverse needs. This is a program-based role, meaning staff may support students across classrooms, programs, and schools based on student needs.

What You'll Do
  • Support students in academic, behavioral, and functional skill development
  • Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and behavior plans

  • Assist with classroom routines, materials, and organization
  • Support students during transitions, lunch, recess, and community-based activities

What We're Looking For
  • Maine Ed Tech I, II, or III certification (or ability to obtain)
