Job summary

RSU 87 - Carmel & Levant, Caravel Middle School in Carmel, is seeking an Ed Tech II or III for Special Education for the 2026-2027 school year. Duties include individual or small group instruction, supporting in regular education, and assisting students with activities of daily living. Candidates must hold MDOE certification and CHRC. EOE/AA.

The successful candidate will have experience with school-aged children, behavior management, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous successful experience working with school aged children.
• Previous experience with behavior management or willing to be trained.
• Ability to develop and maintain rapport with students and staff.

• Join the special education team at Caravel Middle School in RSU 87, Carmel.
• Provide support in the regular education setting.
• Support students with activities of daily living.
