Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a Special Education Teacher (EC) to provide specialized instruction for students with disabilities in a school-based setting in North Carolina.

You will collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to develop and implement IEPs, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs and helping students achieve academic and developmental goals. Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina EC teaching license.
• Experience working with students with disabilities, including autism, preferred.
• Teaching experience: 1 year (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized and small-group instruction based on students' educational needs.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs.
• Adapting curriculum and lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff to support student success.
• Assessing student progress, maintaining documentation, and adjusting instruction as needed.
